Natural Lava stone granules for biological and mechanical filteration for fresh and marine water aquarium. Lava stone is a material which comes out at the earth’s surface from underground. It is highly porus and free of organic polluting substances subject to decompoallion. The exceptional highly porus structure of this material allows optimal conditions where the nitrifying bacteria, such as nitrosomonas and nitrobar, can colonise and keep the aquarium.
